@kuriko My calendar service was for a time DecSync, so calendar over Syncthing. Now I use Nextcloud so CalDAV with DAVx5 as a client. At the same time I use ICSx5 for calendar subscriptions. My calendar app is Fossify Calendar, fork of the Simple Calendar app. It works very well, has the UI and widgets I need.

@kuriko I use nextcloud for my calendar and contacts; on Android I used DAVx5 for sync, and uh…I guess I never switched away from the default calyxos calendar app 😅

  • @kuriko etar and davx5, though I only use said calendar on my phone and can't speak for syncing to other services

@kuriko@wetdry.world fossify calendar and occasionally etar for one missing feature. waiting to find or figure out how i'd realisticly host a radicale server before syncing online.

@kuriko@wetdry.world uhhhh this one uses etar for the calendar, and davx5 for syncing with disroot's nextcloud instance :3

@kuriko@wetdry.world I use Fastmail, and I sync the calendar to my system with DAVx5 (so that it shows up on my home screen widget). this setup doesn't allow me to easily import events into my calendar because fastmail doesn't register itself as a system calendar; there's nothing to open calendar files with. :pensibe:

@kuriko@wetdry.world davx5 for caldav/carddav, etar for calendar as the sync server, I use migadu's service they offer alongside email for contacts and for calendar I use DecSync CC synchronized over Syncthing If I was starting over I would probably just use Migadu for everything to simplify the setup.
