It's also important to note that neither the EV nor gas estimates include actually stopping overnight a few nights to, y'know, sleep, shower, etc. MANY hotels/motels have Level 2 (240v) chargers these days which can fully charge an EV in about 8 - 12 hours & which cost less or may even be free.
