I wasn't planning on having a DECT phone for #emfcamp because it seems illogical when I can use my mobile WiFi calling. What am I missing out on if I don't get one? Conscious of buying yet more electronic waste that will sit unused afterwards. But also want to be part of the fun! Sell it to me? Or, not?

@Thayer@mastodon.social my understanding is that the DECT coverage is substantially better than the WiFi coverage, but there’s nothing stopping you from having a SIP client on your phone and hooking that up to an internal number.
