Frauke, Mom's friend has helped alleviate our costs for replacing our washer machine & paying for one new expensive prescription upon Mom's upcoming discharge. That is a big financial burden off my back; close to $1500 🙏 My brother had our Saanich property tax bill payment delayed until December to relieve current financial stresses. I've paid off household bills for September & October. Bought a lot of home caregiving essentials. Getting help from a friend to apply for financial aid to get Mom a fold up walker with a seat. Hoping once the cancer centre referral is followed up & we can immediately access their services/supports for patient/family. Right now, I have very little extra supports. I'm doing my best to get everything Mom needs, done. It is difficult.
