Climate change doesn't wait for belief. It steals harvests, dries rivers, fuels fires, and takes lives. Today, we have a chance to raise nearly $500 to restore land, plant trees, and give hope to communities facing this crisis. Please don't scroll away. Your gift, no matter how small, can become the seed of a better future. Together, we can protect our planet and the people who call it home. Donate today. 🌍❤️🙏🌱🌳

🦔 Your garden is either part of the problem or part of the solution. Watch this mother hedgehog and her baby drink from asimple bowl of water. Now imagine a summer without it. Give wildlife a chance: leave a shallow bowl of water with a stone, create small gaps in fences, let a corner grow wild, and plant native flowers and berrying shrubs. 🌿 Small actions, multiplied across communities, can create a living network where wildlife can thrive. 🦔🌍 #Biodiversity #WildlifeGarden #Hedgehog #Rewild

🌱 Deep native plant roots do more than anchor plants. They act like underground sponges, absorbing rainwater, reducing flooding, erosion and polluted runoff while improving soil health and storing carbon. Unlike shallow-rooted turf, native plants can reach deep into the soil, helping landscapes withstand drought and heavy rain. They also support pollinators, birds and wildlife. Nature has already designed a powerful water-management system. 🌍 #NativePlants #Nature #SoilHealth #Sustainability

💸🫁 “Try holding your breath while you count your money.” The economy depends on nature: healthy soil, clean water, pollinators, forests and biodiversity. Protecting the environment isn’t separate from economic wellbeing, it helps sustain it. 🌍🌱 Let’s build a future where people, nature and livelihoods can thrive together. #Environment #Sustainability #ClimateAction #Biodiversity #NaturePositive

🌱👀 A surprise beneath the soil! While working on our farm, we uncovered these little soil creatures hiding beneath the mulch. Nature is full of surprises, and every discovery teaches us something new about the life beneath our feet. 🌍💚 Do you know what these are? Have you found them in your garden or farm before? We’d love to hear from you! 🌿🐛 #SoilHealth #OrganicFarming #Nature #Biodiversity #SustainableFarming #YECI

🌳🌱What if part of our protein future is growing above our heads? We need more trees to cool the planet, restore soils and biodiversity. Mulberry trees are fascinating: their leaves are nutritious, protein-rich, perennial, and can be harvested without repeatedly disturbing the soil. They can also be processed into leaf protein concentrate (LPC). Could tree-based protein help transform agriculture? 🌍 Have you eaten mulberry leaves? What do you think? 💬 #Agroforestry #FoodForests #Permaculture

🌱 A quiet dream still needs a voice. This is the future we’re building at YECI Farm in Uganda: conservation, sustainable farming, trees, food security and a place for young people to learn. 🌳 We reopened fundraising with €2,500 still needed to secure the land. So far, it’s been quiet. ❤️‍🩹 If you can’t donate, please share. Even €5, €10 or one repost could help us reach someone who can. 🙏🏾 Help us give this project a future: https://gofund.me/e9243328d #Conservation #FoodSecurity

🌲🌲🫁 That fresh pine smell? Trees are fighting for you too. Trees release chemicals called phytoncides 🧪⚗️🧴including alpha-pinene and limonene. Research by Dr. Qing Li found that forest exposure can reduce stress hormones and increase natural killer (NK) cell activity. A forest walk isn’t just peaceful. It may be good for your body too. 🌳💚 #FoodForest #ForestBathing #Trees #Nature #Health

🌱 How many wild edible plants do you know? Learning to identify edible and medicinal plants can build confidence, practical skills and a deeper connection with nature. Imagine raising children who know plants by name and understand what nature can provide. Start with the plants around you. Learn, forage responsibly, and enjoy the adventure. 🌿💚 #Foraging #Nature #Permaculture #FoodSecurity #Sustainability

🦗 FARMING DISCOVERY! 🌱 I stopped my work on the YECI farm today after discovering this beautiful green-and-red insect! 😍 At first I thought, “A grasshopper!” But then I noticed something strange… it doesn't seem to have wings! 👀 Is this a young grasshopper preparing for adulthood, or something completely different? 🤔 Nature detectives, I need your help! What do you think it is? 🌍👇 Found today while working on our farming project. ❤️🌱 #Biodiversity #InsectLife #Nature #Conservation #YECI 🌱...

🌱❤️ A new chapter for YECI Farm begins today. Today, 6 September 2026, we are launching our fundraising again🙂not because we are under pressure, but because we believe in moving step by step. Our €400 materials goal was reached because people believed in us. We will never forget that kindness. 🙏🏾 Now, our remaining goal is €2,500🫂🙏the final balance for this land. We hope to raise it gradually by January 2027 and finally call this land ours. 🌍❤️ https://gofund.me/e9243328d #YECI

🌱 A quiet question from YECI Farm… Yesterday we reopened our fundraising to raise the remaining €2,500 needed to secure our conservation land. So far,it has been very quiet. And that’s okay. ❤️ We know not everyone can donate. But if you believe in what we’re building 💪 conservation, sustainable farming, trees, food security and a place for young people to learn, please help us spread the word. Sometimes one boost reaches the person who can make a difference. #Conservation #RegenerativeAgriculture

🐛 If something is eating your plants, you may be doing something right! Holes in leaves aren't always failure. They can mean your garden is feeding the food web. Caterpillars, birds, fungi and insects all play a role in a living ecosystem. 🌿 Signs of life: • Chewed leaves • Birds hunting • Flowers going to seed • Fungi breaking down fallen material • Insects sheltering in stems Don’t ask, “Does my garden look perfect?” Ask: “Who is using it?” #wildlifegardening #biodiversity #permacultur...

Hello everyone 👋🌱 A farmer contacted us for help with a problem affecting their tomato fruits. These photos are not from our garden, but we promised to help by asking our amazing Mastodon family. Does anyone know what could be causing these dark, rotten patches on the tomatoes and how they can be controlled or prevented? Your advice could really help a fellow farmer. 🙏🍅🌿 #Nature #Gardening #Environment #PermacultureFarming #Tomatoes

💧 Munich proved that protecting water at the source can be far cheaper than cleaning it later. Instead of building an expensive filtration plant, the city supported 185 farmers in its water catchment to convert to organic farming. 🌱 The result? Cleaner water, lower nitrate and pesticide pollution, healthier soils 🌍🌏🌎🌐and major savings. Clean water starts in the field. Protecting nature is often the smartest investment. 🌍💧🌾 #WaterProtection #OrganicFarming #SoilHealth #NatureBasedSolutions

We've come so far together! 💚 We have already raised €2,000 toward securing a permanent home for our environmental education project. Only €1,500 remains. If just 30 kind people gave €50 each, we could reach our goal and begin using the land. Every €50 brings us one step closer to empowering young people, protecting nature, and creating lasting change. Will you be one of the 30? Thank you for believing in our mission. 🌍 #MastodonFamily https://gofund.me/e9243328d

#Mastodonfamily 🦬 Nature is not our enemy☹️it's our greatest ally. The European bison didn't just survive the wildfire; they helped stop it by grazing the land and creating natural firebreaks. Imagine communities where healthy ecosystems protect lives instead of disasters destroying them. At Young Environmental Conservation Initiative, we're restoring nature because it protects us too. Help us plant, restore, and inspire hope. Together, we can build a safer, greener future. 🌱💚

🔥 Every wildfire carries a lesson. Around Bordeaux, drained wetlands were replaced by vast pine monocultures, creating landscapes that burn far more easily. Nature is reminding us that water, biodiversity, and healthy ecosystems are our strongest defense against fire. My heart is with every family, firefighter, and wild animal affected. Let's restore wetlands, protect diverse forests, and work with nature 🥵 not against it. 🌍💚 #MastodonFamily #ClimateAction #Wildfires #Nature

💧The difference between life and ashes is often just water. This green ribbon survived while everything around it burned🫂🌏not by chance, but because water was allowed to stay. Nature has always known the answer: healthy wetlands, living soils, and flowing rivers protect life. Every wetland restored, every tree planted, and every stream revived is hope for tomorrow. #MastodonFamily If this moved you, please ❤️ like, 🔁 boost, and help more people see what nature is trying to teach us. 🌍💚

🔥 If you don't understand water, you don't understand fire. Every wildfire begins long before the first spark. We drain the Earth's groundwater, pave over the land, and send precious rain rushing to the sea instead of letting it nourish the soil. Trees slowly die from thirst until forests become fuel. Every wetland restored, every tree planted, and every drop of rain returned to the ground is a chance to save lives, wildlife, and our future. Don't wait for the next fire. 💧🌍

Frogs, birds, bees, bats, worms, and fungi protect our crops for free, asking only for a place to live. 💔 A poisoned field keeps farmers buying chemicals forever, but a living ecosystem gives life, food, and hope.
