This is a thoughtful essay on the tension between AI enthusiasts and skeptics in engineering organizations. Though, it avoids a huge part of the skeptic story (morality, climate, etc), possibly because there’s no solution. I’d be curious to hear from @mipsytipsy@hachyderm.io how that part gets dealt with, if it does. “And we need each other desperately.
