Andy Burnham could be a good prime minister. He'd be off to a great start if he made school meals free for every child.

web findings 11 https://britthub.co.uk/web-findings-11/ This time I’ve been gathering links for at least six weeks. It’s been the summer holidays and I have a young child so my time has been very occupied. Here are some of the things I found in spare moments or just before the holidays started and then didn’t get round to posting sooner. Beautiful […] #Bookmarks #DnD #inspiration #map #resources

Just thinking about education being entirely separated from everyday life. As if it's something only children do. As if you can stop learning at 16. As if learning only happens inside a classroom under the guidance of a teacher. And now I'm thinking about the difference between learning and education. And now I'm thinking about how it's weird that adults don't play more. What a morning. It's only 8:30.

Rounded Corners Sketchbook April – May 2026 https://britthub.co.uk/rounded-corners-sketchbook-april-may-2026/ This is actually only one of two sketchbooks I filled during April and May. The other one has a lot more pages so may take a little longer to scan in. I then have two full sketchbooks for June and July so far, I’ve started another and it’s only just over half way through the […] #Sketchbook #alien #nutella #pencil #pineapple #sketches #window #artistsonmastodon #illustration #creativeT...

Derwentwater https://britthub.co.uk/derwentwater/ I drew this from a photo of Derwentwater taken by my partner’s sister. Digital drawing using Sketchbook on my tablet. There’s a lovely brush called tattoo inker that I used for the outlines. It feels very nice to draw with. I actually shared this a while ago on socials but have been neglecting my blog. Cardboard Cliffs https://britthub.co.uk/cardboard-cliffs/ I have a lot of cardboard, I enjoyed making this ripped piece into art. I used a combination of different paint markers for this. I bought some super cheap ones from a discount shop so that I wouldn’t worry about destroying the nibs. I need to do more. #Sketchbook #cardboard #landscape #PaintPens #texture

Sketchnotes https://britthub.co.uk/sketchnotes/ Back in January (I know it’s May now, I’ve been in a doing rather than documenting kind of mood for the last few months – I honestly thought I’d already made this blog post) I joined in with World Sketchnote Week. I really enjoyed getting into sketching my thoughts and ideas, noting down interesting details […] #Notes #doodles #event #learning #sketchnotes

Square Sketchbook Highlights February – March 2026 https://britthub.co.uk/square-sketchbook-highlights-february-march-2026/ So my sketchbook was almost exclusively sketchnotes during January. But what did I do in next? 30/30 Pretty weird to hold a 30 day challenge in a 28 day month, but that’s what happened in February. I’ve already shared some of the pieces I contributed to 30/30, flight, Derwentwate #Sketchbook #animals #cat #ink #MemoryMining #paint #pencil #plants #practice #rain #tea #wat...

A very important note saved in my phone two years ago: A legend of Zelda game but link and Ganon have been put into the same body for "safe" prisoner transport. Knowing that if, or rather when, they escape their first instinct will be to find the princess and the triforce.
