I know the 70s was my schooldays and I grew up listening to the radio in the 60s, but I will stand firmly that today’s music really beats everything I ever experienced growing up, we’ve got some superb stuff today and I keep being amazed at how good today’s music is how lucky today’s teenagers are #TOTP

Well, today’s work went well. In the morning I did an important bit of surgery to the script, the next montage I’ve swapped characters entirely, and in a different country) and rewrote a lot of script (in Vim, on the Linux machine). Then I pencil rendered two more panes of the montage, which brings me up to the end of the montage, scanned them on the fucking useless annoying HP failure of a printer, eventually, as usual, and ran out of time in the day then #TOTP

The thing I don’t get is that although Pet Shop Boys put their stuff together almost in a DIY approach, Neil must’ve known he’s got a superb singing voice and Chris must’ve known he’s a very innovative music maker, so it obviously wasn’t some slapdash post-punk experimental ethos, it was a lot more project oriented from the start I suspect #TOTP
